about me.

My career in technology began in 2019 at Broward College, where I was placed as a volunteer in the computer lab. At the time, I knew very little about computers, but the adults around me saw potential. What I lacked in knowledge, I made up for with curiosity and a passion for learning.

During my time in the lab, I asked countless questions about network infrastructure, programming, and daily computing tasks. Growing up, I played video games on computers but never understood how they functioned beyond entertainment. I constantly wondered, “What else can a computer do?” That curiosity became a driving force in my life, leading me to build meaningful relationships with those around me who were willing to teach and share their experiences.

Eventually, my eagerness to learn opened new doors. I was offered an internship on the Broward College Web Design team, earning \$12 an hour. With \$400 in my pocket every two weeks, I felt like I had hit the jackpot. It never felt like work—I showed up each day excited to learn something new and to apply my skills on projects that had real impact.

Thanks to the relationships I built at Broward College, I was promised a role by the Vice President, which led to my first official job in IT at CSPi in Deerfield Beach. There, I met Romina—someone I am deeply grateful for to this day. She taught me everything from the ground up: how to troubleshoot, how to be an efficient help desk engineer, and how to escalate tickets properly so nothing fell through the cracks.

After nearly two years at CSPi, I worked with a few small businesses, including Yacht Store and Sync Systems. These experiences gave me insight into supporting mom-and-pop shops and helping them succeed through tailored tech solutions.

Today, I work at Milner Inc. as a Field Support Specialist, where I help build enterprise infrastructure and networks from the ground up. I love what I do. Each day is a new opportunity to satisfy my curiosity, to test bleeding-edge technology, and to contribute to environments I’ve helped shape and grow.

I look forward to every day ahead because it gives me a chance to learn something new, challenge myself, and evolve—not just as a technician, but as a person.
